Aug 14, 2023 · I decided to reinstall, and it hung at 92% so I left ir overnight, with no progress. So I stopped the download, erased the contesnts of the BG3 directory then tried again. It went trhough the Dog `n Pony Show of verifying the (deleted files) then immediately hung at 92% immediately. I am loving the game but GOG is on my last fucking nerve, HELP! I am wondering if it is something with my computer or systemic to BG3 atm. It takes an annoying amount of time to load back to a save game. And then once the save is actually loaded it takes forever for the world to re-render itself. Is anyone else having this problem or had this problem. Please let me know how save loads are for you. It's not a GOG-specific issue; the problem was the hard drive being overwhelmed by lots of requests, forcing BG3 to wait. Assuming Windows, use Task Manager to check if the drive is hitting 100%. If so, you can use Disk Activity in the Resource Monitor to identify which applications are contributing. .
