The engine in low gears 1-8 will reach 1700rpm and loose all power no pull loaded or empty, re-shift up to next gear and pulls again up to 1700rpm then engine sounds like it "blubbers" and no pull. If you look in the pic, the red circle shows the valve that releases compression when the brake is activated.
