I picked up a 07 prairie 360 the other day. Its in pretty decent shape except it doesn't have any spark. The guy i got it from said the cdi box was bad is there any way to test it besides putting a known good on. Doesn't seem like an 07 should have a cdi problem. What else should i check coil, and ...Unplug it and check the wires for power. One should have power. If neither has power with the ignition on then check the fuses. If one does have power then jump it to the other. If the fan comes on, the temp switch is bad. If it doesn't, with the wires still jumped, check for power at the fan. If there is power, the fan is no good.Put some carb cleaner. Also check the belt and his deflection and clean all this system with compressed air. Clean well the oil cooler rad. This middle engine has a very good torque but not much speed, i like it very much, no problems at all before 1 year of use.
