Cold cranki...Bought a one month subscription to Mitchell. Their spec indicates a minimum fuel rail pressure of 1450 psi @ cranking speed. Mine actually barely started today with a rail pressure of 1228 psi cranking @ approx 150 RPM. Engine idling rail pressure is 4K to 5K @ temp (180F) with a fuel temp of less than 135F. Did a balance rate test (in neutral ...long crank I have a 2003 LB7 with 75000mi. When it starts{sometimes it does not} it takes 5 or 6 seconds to start hot or cold. It runs great,no smoke,no fuel in oil.I have had the fuel filter housing rebuilt,a FASS fuel pump system installed,fuel pressure regulator and a glow plug module.In 10 minutes exactly the SECURITY (lock) light will turn off. Try to start (it won't) Leave ignition on. In 10 minutes, the light will go out, and it will start up, and will "marry" the ECM to the BCM permanently. Check to make sure your fuel filter is tight and the gaskets are not pinched.
